I feel you arrive, new—
real as Earth
and warmly divine in our sun's song.
When I was a seed
I could not understand
the apple tree we are now,
though our code was
planted inside me
from our beginning.
You've always been I.
When I die
will you remember all my lives
as they're yours, and yours mine?
We are like the softest thread,
a single two-toned string
shaped into a ball of yarn.
This cotton is cradled
in my hand
like an apple.
O our gentle weight
reminds me of the love
that's brave—
Truth married to Escape:
You are Me.
